Indifferent Daydream

It feels so strange you’re leaving

All the things that we believe in

Seems to have walked right out that door—and I still remember

The time I fell down and was bleeding

You didn’t flinch, you just kept reading

And I didn’t care that you didn’t care—at all

You are my indifferent daydream

And I am your nonchalant knight

We’ll drift around aimlessly wondering why—it’s alright

Like the one time you were crying

I didn’t notice, I was trying to sleep

I was tired, I’m always so tired

That Friday I came home was feeling great

Things were going so good I said let’s celebrate

That’s when you got up and said I think I should go away

You are my indifferent daydream

And I am your nonchalant knight

We’ll drift around aimlessly wondering why—it’s alright

It feels so strange how you’re not here

No it doesn’t it all; I guess I really should care

A little bit more than I have been, but:

You are my indifferent daydream

And I am your nonchalant knight

We’ll drift around aimlessly wondering why—it’s alright

Patience Too Late

It’s eroding like sand, Slips through your hands, and scatters before you. Resembling patience too late—you’re too late.

So Much More With This

What you say and what you do It doesn’t matter, no one’s watching you

Day By Day

Dreamt of this most of my lifetime. Feels close and yet so far away. One day I’m gonna capture that star shine, thrown away.
