Escalator Boy

Updated: Sep 3, 2020

Hahaha...super fun tune! This was an old Horse Latitudes song. We took it’s old punk style. Shook it off, and gave it an updated feel. (still moshable in my book)

Call the escalator boy

He’s been here for sixteen years

And living in his urban jungle

He’s got dreams and he’s got fears

He’s got a niece who calls him uncle

Call the escalator boy

His vision quest is a quest for vision

All these years he’s wasted time

Led by his own blind ambition

That one’s yours and this one’s mine

All the time that we’ve been here

Never wish to say we’re sorry

He’s got dreams and he’s got fears

His dream car is a red Ferrari

Call the escalator boy

We Roll Away

An old friend—a new state—I feel I’ve played this roll before. A different time, a different place—could we have acted differently?
